The Evolution of Visual Depictions of Women in Advertising looked at the change of images of women from 1960 to 2023. The publication investigates images of women in advertisements from 3 time periods, 1960-1989, 1990-2009, and 2010-2023. The selected advertisements are categorized by fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. This publication was meant to explore the changes in images of women purely based on visuals. It allows similarities and differences in the respective periods to come to the forefront. It allows the viewer to compare how women were once depicted in the past and compare them to the visuals of the modern-day.
