iN-oUT-iN is a 3 book experimental publication following the process of creating 10 compositions for a series of words or quotes. The compositions go through both analog and digital manipulation, interchanging between iterations to investigate and explore how the meaning of words could be expressed through the treatment of typography.
The two quotes featured in the publication are as follows:
“I’m tired of pretending I know who I am” and “I love myself but I hate the way I am”
Books 1 and 2 are separate entities connected by Book 3. The first book outlines all analog processes taken on the 10 compositions and book 2 outlines all the digital processes. Book 3 features larger images of the finalized 10 compositions. Books 1 and 2 can be read individually or simultaneously, allowing the viewer to flip through the process as it occurs.
