"We design for the future,
using the past which in time will archive our present."
ABOUT ME
Hi There!
My name is Jacob (he/him) and I am a Junior Graphic Designer based in North York, Toronto, Ontario. In the spring of 2025 completed my Honours Bachelor's of Design with distinction at OCAD University in Toronto, Ontario with a speciality in editorial and publication design.
I am interested in all things graphic design and typography with an endless love for physical media and a growing love for textile design! I see myself as a design thinker over anything else, constantly and critically observing our current designed world to better understand how to navigate and improve our communication.
As a bi-racial individual, my practice seeks to blend not only both my cultural background being Japanese and Scottish but also my personal interests and tastes. Design is a language I am constantly looking to improve and want to push myself to become a more dynamic and efficient communicator.
