Sonny Angel created by Toru Soeya are collectable figures which I have gained quite a mass collection of. "Sonny Angel is a little angel boy who likes wearing all sorts of headgear. He is always by your side to make you smile" - sonnyangel.com. I love the characters however, they come out of the box naked, so I took it upon myself to create clothes for them. All the clothing is created using a 1.5mm crochet hook and various coloured embroidery thread.
I have used the "Sonny Angel One Piece Swimsuit" pattern by Dongge12 for a few of the pieces. The pattern was updated during the process to create more custom designs. Other designs, like the shorts and swim trunks were freehanded.
