My photographic suite is titled Light and Them and is an extension of the collection Light and Us that I completed in March of 2023.

The theme I explored within Light and Them provides a different perspective on our homes. I continue to utilize light in unconventional ways within illuminated objects around my house as the main subjects for this work. In each photograph, light is in use to highlight specific objects that bring life into our spaces. The things that help us, comfort us and grow from us. These objects should no longer hide in the background of our homes, but shine in the forefront. They live within the spaces we live too.

Light and Them allows us to reflect on our spaces and see what is living amongst us. What silently shapes what we call our home, and how it stays within it. My photographs act as a spotlight on these objects, bringing their life to light.
