Granny Square Blanket
Hand Crochet with Acrylic Yarn
This piece is one of my most favourite (and largest) crochet pieces to date comfortably fitting a double sized bed! It is made up of 49 individual granny squares all created with a 5mm crochet hook and yarn of the same size. Production of the piece began Feb. 17, 2023 and was completed July 2, 2023. It was definitely a much longer process than expected but was 100% worth the time and effort. It now remains a family heirloom that we can never get rid of!
The piece was heavily inspired by the work displayed by the user _luna4lu_ on TikTok. I loved the look of their mother's work and just needed to create my own.
